I stayed awake just for this.

It's been a long time since I wanted to try it but I never managed to try it as I always couldn't wake up on time. But NOT this time!! In order to make sure i can get it, I made myself stay awake till the morning. Took a bath change clothes and started my pilgrimage.

After 15mins of walking, I reached, ordered, was served and took a pic...

As you can see, it's the McDonald's' Bagel Extra Value Meal (I changed the drink to Iced Latte)!!! Woot!~

The bagel was really good! I hoped this meal stayed for good. After the satisfying breakfast, I walked home. It's be bedtime after this post.

Halloween's Coming and Boss bought some eyeballs to tease the kids.


The eyeballs are actually chocolate balls wrapped in foil.
The kids were so happy when they saw them. U should really see their cute faces.

Hari Raya Soon

It's the Ramadan this month. As our fellow Muslim friends are fasting from dawn till dusk. Many times, they consume dates when they break the fast. The reasons in my opinion are,
1. it's a tradition
2. dates have very high sugar level and can give lots of energy to last through the day.

Anyway, i came across a product linked to the Ramadan.


It's a drink made from dates. Interesting!~

Coincidental?

Hmm.. Very interesting... This is one of the years (of my memories) where I got the most presents. What is the most interesting is that all the presents are the same! Some people would sympathise with me and say it had happened to them before and it's really sad to have the same presents. But I don't need that! It's cause all those presents are CASH!! COLD HARD CASH!! WOOO!!! in top of the cute ang pao i recieved last saturday from YF n Gang, I recieved another 2 tonight!

The first one was from S n Gang (Namely, S, JJ, W & G). I was feeling suspicious when S wanted to meet me for lunch and is willing to walk from his work place (near lau pa sat) to my side of raffles place. When it was the time to meet, JJ called me to ask me if I have arrived. So JJ's here too. Nice! I met up with them 45mins after the arranged time as I have to see a patient at the last min. Bummer.. So after i ordered my food, S passed my my ang pao saying, "Nah, ur birthday present from us, 意思意思." For a second i felt a bit weird as i dun really like recieving present (don't ask me why). But i got over that soon and took it from him. Another angpao!!



The second angpao came from CY n Gang (Including CY, F, FX, C & S). Arranged to meet up with them at timbre after work. Thx Pals. The atmosphere was gd but the band was... Hmm... How do i describe the band... I jus feel that the band sung baadly.. But nontheless it was fun, the food's good. So maybe i'll go again. Thx to CY for the arrangement!

It's getting close to my bdae n Ms M is organising a gathering of the sistas. And today is the day. This happens whenever it's close to any of the members bdae. I'm a weirdo when it comes to birthdays as I dun like to celebrate my birthdays. Maybe cos I dun really celebrate birthdays much when I'm younger (not that I'm very old).

I also feel weird when recieving gifts as u dunno what u gonna get. On the other hand, some friends would ask me what i want for my birthday but I dunno wat to tell them as it's just weird telling people what I want (I can't just say I want women, sex n money rite?).

Ok, back to the gathering. Met up at tiantian at 10pm I tot I was early when I got there when I recieved a call from M saying that all of them have reached! Wahh... So punctual! Before I sat down, YF passed me my present from the girls (Pic Below) It looks like a box used to package the apple pie from MacDonalds' but it has a bear and many "Happy Birthday!!" printed all over it. My actual present is cash bundled with a ribbon! Woo!!~ Thanks for listening to me!!


A few days ago, YF gave me a call asking me for my choice of present (vouchers from Topshop, Taka or another place) I told her, "Aiyah.. Y so troublesome, jus gimme an angbao lah." Turned out that my wish came true!~ Ahahah!~~

Phenomenal

Woke up late this morning n took a cab. As I'm heading to camden today, I'll need to go through the PIE. Was listening to the 881 sound track when I felt the cab slow down. I was weird, I'm on the PIE... I'm supposed to be fast... I looked at taxi uncle's speedo.. It's 60km/h.. 60km/h on PIE??!! An accident? I looked around and din see any accident. All the cars are slowing down... It's as if they saw something.. Something BIG... Just like in the movies where the cars slow down when godzilla comes to town.

So I looked further ahead n realised... They were slowing down as the time on the ERP was 9.29... (Pengz) They are trying to slow down so they can avoid paying $0.50!! People can throw $$$ into singapore pools and luohan fish, n buying donuts n bubble tea but they hav to slow down to save $0.50??!! Dun they realise that the car is the most efficient when cruising?? By slowing down they are burning more fuel per km travelled?

Sometimes it's interesting looking at what people do. :)

Anything & Whatever

My sis told me there's a drink called anything n one called whatever. I told her, "dun be boliao la!" Then I saw this TVC,



Wah piang, damn farni! So I decided to go downstairs to find the drink. I told the buy at the mama shop, "eh abang, U got sell this drink called anything or the one called whatever?" He gave me the "WTF" look. ahaha!~~ THen I told him there's this TVC about it. Then it occured to me that he only watch vasantham. hehheh. But I dun give up. I go to the 7-11 but they also dun hav. So lanlan go hm loh.

So I went online and googled n found out @ http://www.anything.com.sg/ that anything is any of six fizzy flavours and whatever is any of six non-fizzy flavours. For the flavours, u can check out the webby. This is a very interesting concept from Out of the Box Pte Ltd the "uber innovative people" - I gave them the name.

I also came across the TVC for whatever on youtube, but I feel that the anything one is more funny.

Law By Law

Met up with "S" to watch Just Follow Law. Since the show starts at 9.40pm we went for dinner at HOGSBREATH (C.H.I.J.M.E.S). I must say that the steaks there are really nice. Although they dun come cheap. Just the steak set alone costs $32. Too bad there wasn't any 10% for UOB cardholders as it's a public holiday (dunno if it's due to CNY or it applies to all public holidays).

So after the meal we walked to marina square for the show. Since we still have time. "S" went to get a jar of honey at a shop which specialises in selling honey. While he was getting honey I saw a fellow officer of mine and we had a short chat n apparently he was also going for ICT in july with me. Woo singapore's really small eh. He wasn't supposed to be in the same unit as me but i think he sway la. No choice kena "hand picked" like me (reason can't say on grounds that it involves national security :) ).

OK, On with the show. Commercial started 20min after starting time (yes, it's GV as u would've guessed). Pretty OK show in all has a bit of political satire, comedy, lots of product placement - no need to guess who are the sponsors. It really reminds me of my NS days where we shoot arrow here n there. It's also has a good demonstration of the No U-Turn Syndrome (NUTS) . However, the content seems to be rather subdued (believed the show was called Law By Law)as compared to other shows by Jack Neo. It's not in the acting but the script - fann wong did a very good job in acting. I noted that the screenplay was written by different people as compared to "I Not Stupid", "Money No Enough". You can feel the story behind but the feeling wasn't properly brought out through the parts of the conversation by fann when it was made in english - it's just not singlish enough. I believed there was a communication breakdown between the writers of the story n the screenplay. The ending was also no properly done.

To wrap things up, it was enjoyable but the impact wasn't there as I can't remember much about the show considering the fact that I just finished it 1.5Hrs ago.

It's Chinese New Year!

It's Chinese New Year n I feel better. The legs have healed up properly and I felt no pain in my muscle when I woke up this morning. What a good way to begin a new lunar year! :)

My god. I feel disabled.

My thighs still hurt like mad when going up or down stairs, kerbs, bus whatever. I dun even hav strength to sit down/get up properly, I jus plop down on the chair/toilet bowl. Hope that I can recover soon. I can now emphatise the elderly who have weak legs.

First IPT Session. IPT

Knowing very well that I would definitely fail my IPPT, I went to sign up for the IPT as I wouldn't need to go for RT if I fulfill my training n fail my IPPT. Was quite nervous as yesterday was my first time going to a Army Camp after ORD. Got ready my PT Attire n headed to ***** Camp after work.

Point 1: Realised every one was wearing their own PT attire, nobody was in official SAF PT Kit Except me n the PTI.

Point 2: Nobody in my group was the first time coming back to camp after ORD. All except me were in IPT cos they were in RT last time n wanna siam RT in case they fail (which they would).

This was the first session n the training programme for the 1st session was a IPPT CAT TEST!!!!~~
Siao liao...
Ran, jumped, pull like mad. Only passed situp out of all stations. Ended up with very very weak legs.

Point 3: realised that the first person to finish the 2.4 Run clocked 13mins. Practically everyone failed the 2.4 run.

Had dinner at the nearby hawker, went hm, bathe, check mail n SLEEP.
